Madison Company offers several drum level indicator products designed specifically for standard 20, 30 and 55-gallon drums. These level indicators will fit-up directly with standard 3/4" NPT bungs.
Available in low level, high-level and multi-level designs, for both low and high-level indication. The basic level switches require a power source. When configured with an alarm, battery power is on-board.
Optional alarms are available in either a fixed-mount (to the level switch) or a remote-mount design. This option provides both the level switch and the alarm with battery power for ease of use in remote sites where a power source is not readily available.
For those drum applications requiring a non-contact ...
When your tank level application calls for a sealed tank, or the installation does not lend itself to easy removal, Madison Company’s C3945 and C3975 field-repairable continuous liquid level switches should be considered.
The entire stem and face mount can be permanently sealed to the vessel. Should replacement of the reed switches become necessary, unscrewing the top mount and removing the entire switch assembly can be accomplished without compromising the vessel’s interior environment.
The ability to easily remove the C3945 and C3975 from a sealed tank allows most repairs to be completed on-site. When compared to conventional liquid level switches, this field-repairable continuous level switch eliminates ...
Madison’s continuous tank level indicators are designed for vertical mounting in a tank. Float switches are evenly spaced over the operation range to achieve the desired resolution. A single magnet-containing float travels the length of the sensing range. The reed switches are magnetically actuated as the float moves with the liquid level. DC power is applied to the switch, and the output signal can then be routed to programmable controllers, microprocessors or other readout devices.
Model C3946 is a 10 mm resolution continuous level float switch with a stainless steel or brass stem and available with either a polypropylene, Buna-N or stainless steel float.
The MAD4500 and MAD4510 submersible pressure sensors are approved to UL/cUL913 (CSA 157) Class I Div 1, Groups C and D for use in intrinsically safe areas with an approved barrier. For pressure ranges from 0-1 PSIG to 0-100 PSIG that require a wide range of media compatibility, the submersible series is an excellent solution for level monitoring in both indoor and outdoor applications.
The MAD45PT Series of submersible pressure sensors provides the added functionality of Temperature measurement.
MAD4500 & MAD4510 models are available in your choice of electrical outputs of 1-5 VDC or 4-20mA. MAD45PT models are available with 4-20mA electrical output only. Standard cable lengths of 25', 50', 100' ...
The MAD4520 Flush Submersible hydrostatic pressure sensor is designed for monitoring viscous material and/or turbulent conditions within a vessel. This cost-effective pressure sensor is approved to UL/cUL913 Class 1 Division 1 IS, Groups C and D, with an approved barrier. For pressure ranges from 0-5 PSIG to 0-20 PSIG, the cage design allows for proper media flow while keeping the sensor at the bottom of the vessel or well.
Electrical output is 4-20mA and units are available in standard cable lengths of 25', 50' or 75'. The 316L stainless steel and PVDF construction will withstand the toughest environments. The MAD4520 is ideal for sewage lift stations, food tanks and viscous media ...
