Madison Company offers several drum level indicator products designed specifically for standard 20, 30 and 55-gallon drums. These level indicators will fit-up directly with standard 3/4" NPT bungs.

Available in low level, high-level and multi-level designs, for both low and high-level indication. The basic level switches require a power source. When configured with an alarm, battery power is on-board.

Optional alarms are available in either a fixed-mount (to the level switch) or a remote-mount design. This option provides both the level switch and the alarm with battery power for ease of use in remote sites where a power source is not readily available.

When your tank level application calls for a sealed tank, or the installation does not lend itself to easy removal, Madison Company’s C3945 and C3975 field-repairable continuous liquid level switches should be considered.

The entire stem and face mount can be permanently sealed to the vessel. Should replacement of the reed switches become necessary, unscrewing the top mount and removing the entire switch assembly can be accomplished without compromising the vessel’s interior environment.

Madison’s continuous tank level indicators are designed for vertical mounting in a tank. Float switches are evenly spaced over the operation range to achieve the desired resolution. A single magnet-containing float travels the length of the sensing range. The reed switches are magnetically actuated as the float moves with the liquid level. DC power is applied to the switch, and the output signal can then be routed to programmable controllers, microprocessors or other readout devices.

The MAD4520 Flush Submersible hydrostatic pressure sensor is designed for monitoring viscous material and/or turbulent conditions within a vessel.  This cost-effective pressure sensor is approved to UL/cUL913 Class 1 Division 1 IS, Groups C and D, with an approved barrier.  For pressure ranges from 0-5 PSIG to 0-20 PSIG, the cage design allows for proper media flow while keeping the sensor at the bottom of the vessel or well.
